Spring Youth and Adult Soccer
Registration begins on January 22 at 9am-12pm at Richard Rollins park. February 5, 9am-12pm at Richard Rollins park. February 22, 6pm-8pm at Pico Park. February 26, 9am-12pm at Richard Rollins park.
Spring Soccer will be all coed this year to try to allow the maximum number of teams possible in every division U6-U18. It cost $50 to sign up, and you can find the applications on the website gtsoccer.org or you can get an application on the day you sign up. If you print out an application from the website please print three (3) copies. Games will start April 2, 2011 and will last for eight (8) weeks. Each player will get the team shirt/jersey and matching socks for games. Most players have played soccer in GT before and would already have the black shorts. Adult Soccer sign ups will be the same dates and times as Spring Soccer. The same applications used for Spring Soccer will also be used for Adult Soccer. Only fill out the player information, and emergency information sections. You do not need to fill out the parent information. It cost $50 to play and each team will consist of roughly 9 players. The games will be 7v7 and on a field the size of the U12 field. Games will start April 5, 2011 and will last for eight (8) weeks. We would like to have a division for 18-29 year olds, and a 30+ division. But that will depend on how many people we get to sign up. We may have to only have one (1) division this year (18+) if we do not get enough of the 30+ applications. There will be some special rules for Adult soccer (each team must have at least one (1) female, no slide tackling, etc.). But everyone will be notified of the rules when the teams are formed and will be posted on gtsoccer.org.
