Adult Soccer

Games to begin on Saturday, September 10th and the season will be 10 games long. Games will be played at Richard Rollins Park in Grand Terrace on Saturday evenings, beginning at 5:00 PM each week.

Regular FIFA rules apply, with the following exceptions.

Team Forming:
1) All teams will be coed.
2) 2 divisions will be formed. Division 1 is minimum of 18 years old and up. Division 2 is minimum of 30 years old and up.
3) Each team will consist of minimum of 7 players and maximum of 11 players.
4) Each team will consist of minimum of 2 females.
5) Players can change divisions by written request to GTCSC board.
6) Uniforms will not be distributed and must be appropriate for community spectatorship.
7) Names must also be appropriate for community spectatorship.

Game Playing:
1) At least 1 female must be on the field throughout the game.
2) Slide tackling is permitted in Division 1.
3) Slide tackling is not permitted in Divsion 2.
4) Goal keepers may dive for a ball, but may not slide accross the ground to stop a shot from the attacker.
5) Physical play will be allowed, but males are highly encouraged to be mindful with females.
6) Players must present California ID or California DL copies to team captains for emergency purposes.
7) Release of Liability must be signed and submitted by every player before their first game played.
8) League referees will be provided for every match.

Match Scoring:
1) Normal goal scoring rules apply.
2) Offisides is not crucial as the match is 7 v 7, however cherry picking is not allowed.

League Standings:
1) 3 points for a win.
2) 0 points for a loss.
3) 1 point for tie.
4) Ties at conclusion of season will result in a playoff game if practical.
5) Championship Trophy will be maintained by the champion and returned at beginning of following season.

Forfeit Policy:
1) There is a ten minute waiting period, then short staffed team will forfeit the game.
2) After the forfeit is officially logged by referees, the teams can scrimmage on the fields.
3) Forfeits will result in a loss for the short staffed team, minimum 7 on field with 1 female.
